On my way to Juma, I was to meet this older cousin of mine that I hadn't seen in the longest time. Usually, I pretend to have satisfactory small talk skills. This time however, the pretend game caught up to me. No wonder people who dont know me think of me as a rude, arrogant bastard. I said salam, a half smile and just pointed to the mosque and off I went. The thought of talking to him seemed more tedious that doing an assignement on time. No 'how are you', No 'hows the family', No 'how do you like it here'.

Oh, and I ignored his wife. Not even a salam. It's the truth, I'm awkward with aunites. What do you say to beings that you cannot in anyway relate to?

Me: Hi overwight auntie. I know you only from hilarious cliches.
