Currently watching Pakistan bat against India, (India has some ugly ass uniforms by the way) i'm gonna have some fun with this and change up the site to suit my personal 'taste', a la Yaser. Plus, I havent done any work since this, so it'll be good to get back into the HTML world (Ha!)
I think im going to start posting some pictures as well. I take too many of them to just so they can rot on my hard drive.
Oh! I know what I wanted to say. It was my birthday last week. I spent it at Anas' doing diddly. I always seem to have a certain flair of sorts for spending birthdays at the most boring places (19 in a masjid!). I got one present. It was a ROOTS wallet from my sister (again, I love it how she manages to remember these things). Her and the 12:00 pm text message from Hafsa. Those were about the highlights for 21 year old Geezer Goldi. EDIT: How can I forget, Arsalan's awesome post in a thread someone made ;-) RE-EDIT: Quds' birthday post was by far the best and most heart-felt. wow.
And now, the reasons why Goldi feels old:
1) Am balding.
2) Llyod Banks and me are the same age.
3) Lebron James is 3 years younger than me.
4) DJ calls me 'big boy'
5) I think i have a white hair
6) Am getting fatter (of course, that's not ALWAYS a bad thing)
7) My dad talks of marriage everytime he drives me somewhere.
8) My mom is comfortable making cracks about my future wife.
9) I wear Drakkar Noir. A lot.
10) All nighters are becoming more of a nuisance rather than the norm.
11) I make tsk tsk sounds after reading the paper.
12) I laugh (rather loudly) at times when my brother doesn't, during our Simpsons and Family Guy viewings.
13) I comment on people's suits and how well they fit.
